The Bridford Trust is a charity, established in 2001, with the main aim of instigating and developing appropriate recreational, environmental and conservation projects within the parish of Bridford for the benefit of all. In pursuing this aim the Trust works closely with Bridford Parish Council and the Dartmoor National Park Authority.
Two major projects have been established: Bridford Woodland Park and Rowdon Valley Wood.

Whatever the season there is much to see and discover! You can explore the work of The Bridford Trust and find out how these projects were developed by using the menus on the left. A rota of volunteers help with mowing, strimming and hedge-cutting. If you would like to be involved in the work of the Trust please contact the Secretary. Details on the Contact page.

Membership
The Bridford Trust is open to all, whether a Bridford resident or not, and offers the chance for people to support a local organisation seeking to improve and conserve the environment for all to enjoy.

Regular newsletters and indoor meetings keep members up to date with developments and happenings. Single Annual Membership is currently £5 a year. Family Membership, covering everyone living at the same address is £10. There is no age restriction.

Rowdon Valley Wood

This ancient woodland has remained untouched for many years. The wood is being preserved in its current state and a permissive path enables residents and visitors to enjoy this secluded and tranquil spot.
