Aims and Objectives of The Bridford Trust

Aims

To become a focus in helping to monitor change and safeguard the local environment and its amenities by encouraging community involvement, obtaining and administering grants and other funding as a Charitable Trust set up for this purpose.

Objectives

• To maintain land known as Bridford Woodland Park and Rowdon Valley Wood, for the benefit of all. These areas are to be kept in perpetuity as woodlands and, for Bridford Woodland Park, with greens and space for community events as approved by the Trustees.

• To create pleasant, user-friendly amenities that will complement and further enhance the environment.

• To ensure that these amenities are viable and sustainable for the long term.

• To instigate and develop other appropriate recreational, environmental and conservation projects within the Parish of Bridford for the benefit of all.

• To make a difference!
